If you go to the pause menu, DNA and then over to the feathers you can see which part of which city you are missing them in.Īnd this is a great feather guide if any of you need it. Venice has plenty of guards roaming around. I'm not very happy about all of this.ĮDIT: Yup. I double checked Monteriggioni, so I have two other moderately sized cities to look over. I'm almost positive that I have all of the Venice feathers. Sitting on 98 feathers after I thought I had found them all. I decided to go feather hunting with a map. But being able to watch the truth video was worth the effort. When I feel short of the glyphs, I looked up the locations (cities, mind you) and just hunted shadowed buildings, and tried to match up the profile images to make sure that they were the correct locations. =/įinding the glyphs is a real pain in the ass, though. Still having trouble getting a decent size group to get No-hitter, though. Thanks for the input! I was able to get Sweeper with little effort, though I did employ the smoke bombs to help out with that. I'm missing two glyphs in Florence, and the pictures aren't exactly helpful for finding the respective building in the city. Man, I wish there was an easier way to find the remaining buildings with glyphs on them.
You should be able to get about 5-6 guys before you'll need to throw another smoke grenade, rinse and repeat. Make sure you have smoke grenades, and instead throw a smoke when they're all around you, stunning them all, then bust out your hidden blade and proceed to slaughter everyone. I then found a really easy technique to kill the guys quickly without having to just sit there guarding and countering for several minutes. You'll eventually get a lucky sweep of 5 guys.įor No-Hitter, do the same thing with gathering a bunch of guys (preferably 12-15, so that you can get 10 kills before they exit conflict with you and run away). Run around the city, riling countless other guards up, disarm the spear holder, corner yourself near a building and do the sweep move.
While we're at it, anybody know a reasonable way to get the Sweeper achievement? I know how to sweep, but getting it started is just frustrating.Īlso, a decent place to initiate the No-hitter achievement? I finished the game and realized several golden moments to get it, but I decided to skip it, thinking I could do it later.įor sweeper, simply find a guy holding a spear and rile him up. I think you press B/O next to the statue. Am I an idiot and missing something here? Kubuh, how do you get the Monterriggioni statuette achievement? I go up to all the statues and examine them but nothing happens. I guess that's pretty metal though, so thanks for staying on topic! These threads don't have much potential to begin with, and unfortunately even the ones that do have potential burst into flames. It sure leaves a lot of options open for AC3 though, and I can't wait to play it.įootballtom3685, locking a thread about VH1's 100 Most Metal Moments wrote: The 'prophet' stuff, and the ending interaction with Minerva were rather confusing, and then Desmond's conversation about geomagnetic pulses of the sun or whatever was equally weird. Once again, this could have been remedied by axeing the obligatory final combat sequences and finding some other way to escape the hideout.Īs for the story, well, it's intriguing, no doubt. I realize that it would screw the combat up if the enemy had guns, but let's be serious here, no one uses a katana in the 21st century. Secondly, what the heck were the Abstergo guys doing with swords? Is this not relatively present time? They would likely have guns or worse. As slick as the combat is, it's not what the game is really about, and I wish they would try to find a more inventive way to finish the game. Well, I finished the story, and I'm not really sure how I feel about the ending.įor one, I'm disappointed that Ubi once again resorted to a combat duel for the climactic gameplay finish (twice actually - once with Rodrigo, and then again with the Abstergo guys). It sounds like one of the most decent games to come out in a while. Hopefully I'll be able to scrape up enough cash to pick this game up. If you just want to catch up on the AC1 story IGN had a video Assassins Creed in 3 minutes that explains the story in brief I didn't play AC1 and nor do I want to spend 30 dollars on it but is the storyline going to be dumb if I didn't do AC1? Probably might get this if Lockerz allows me to.
